Data Deletion
How to request removal of your Symptune account and associated data.
What we store
When you create a Symptune account, we store your name and email address regardless of how you sign in. If you use a social sign-in provider (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Discord, or GitHub), we receive only your name and email from that provider. We do not receive your password or access to your account on any third-party platform. If you sign in with email and password, your password is hashed and never stored in plain text.
We also store the tracking data you enter: daily check-ins, protocol inputs, events, and any lab data you choose to log.
How to delete your data
Sign in to Symptune and go to Settings. Select Delete Account to permanently remove your account and all associated data from our systems immediately.
Alternatively, you can submit a deletion request via our contact page. Include the email address associated with your account and we will process the request within 30 days, confirming by email when complete.
What deletion removes
A deletion request removes your account, all daily check-ins, all logged events, and all protocol data from our servers. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. You can export your data at any time from Settings before requesting deletion.
If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled immediately upon account deletion. We do not offer refunds or partial refunds for unused time remaining in a billing period.
